At Dance Center Courouble, we weave dreams into reality through dance.

Aya’s Journey 

Aya started as a recreational gymnast in her village Heusden/Destelbergen at the age of three. By the age of 5, she entered the world of Rhythmic Gymnastics along with basic training in ballet.

In both disciplines, she evolved into a real competitive rhythmic gymnast and a full-fledged ballet dancer. She won a Belgian title in every age category of rhythmic gymnastics, and in the senior category, she even secured two consecutive titles (2018 – 2019). In 2022, she added a personal 7th national title for the group performance.

During her years of ballet training, she passed the various exams of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, reaching the degree of intermediate dancer in 2018.

From 2018, Aya has been teaching ballet to rhythmic gymnasts to complement their training. She also became a top-6 finalist and received a golden buzzer on the TV show “Belgium’s Got Talent” in 2018 to promote her sport.

In 2024, Aya graduated from the Bachelor of Education program in Physical Education and Recreation Movement.
